A copy of an accident report may be provided only to involved parties/victims and or insurance agencies listed on the report for a fee of $6.00 per copy.
For accidents not investigated by a police officer, you may complete and mail a Civilian Accident Report.
All requests made in person must provide a copy of the involved person’s driver’s license along with payment by cash, personal check, cashier’s check or money order. All requests by mail must provide a copy of involved parties driver’s license, a written request along with payment by cash, personal check, cashier’s check or money order and a self-addressed stamped envelope. (No out of county personal checks will be accepted) If you have questions or need additional information please call 606-886-6711.
Only offense reports for incidents/crimes that are closed will be released. All releasable incident/offense reports will require an open records request submitted.
